Leonardo DiCaprio is one of the Legend actors of USA. He was born in Los Angeles of California in November 11, 1974. His full name is Leonardo Wilhelm DiCaprio.He is mostly known as Jack which role he played in the movie Titanic. Titanic is the best well known in South Asia. Leonardo is very much popular actor in America with good looks and edgy, unconventional roles. Since five years Leonardo’s presence in the big screen working as Martin Scorsese in The Departed and Ohters and Steven Spielberg in Catch Me if You Can is very much talented. He joined Seeds Elementary Schooland graduated from John Marshall High School, after attending the Los Angeles Centre for Enriched Studies for four years.

His father name’s George DiCaprio and mother name’s Irmelin. He was his parents’ only child but at the age of one, his parents separated themselves. In spite of their separations, he was reared by his father and because of his father’s urging who was a comic book artist and distributor, he wanted to discover his creativity. Acting was his first attraction and at the age of five he landed on children’s TV program namely Romper Room.  Once he told to The New York Times in 1993:

“I knew I did not want to be one of the things they said I should be at school. Doctor, Lawyer, blah blah blah”

In early 1990, he began to work regularly in TV show. It was the programs like The New Lassie, Roseanne and Parenthood. In the age 1991 he took forward when he was merely regular on ABC comedy- Growing Paints. In the same year he acted in low budget horror flick- Critters 3. Two years later he proved that he was the more than beautiful looking young boy when he played against Robert De Nrio in the film This Boy’s Life he gained it beating out 400 actors. He turned heads again and earned an Academy Award for his role as a mentally disabled child in What’s Eating Gilbert Grape? His skilled made him serious actor and a heartthrob. In the year of 1995 two films were released The Basketball Diaries and Total Eclipse. In 1997, the biggest history was happened in his life. This incident made his career higher. The legend history is the drown Titanic. It makes my super star in American film. His Titanic boxed on its way more than 1.843 billion US Dollars. Leonardo said to Rolling Stone in 2010, “I got to wild and nuts and do not care what anyone thought” He is known as a commercial superstar resulting in fan worship among the girls and women that became known as Leo-Mania.

Leonardo is an intimate fellow of Tobey Maguire whom he met for the series Parenthood in1990 and is a longtime friend of Kevin Connolly and Lukas Haas as well as Kate Winslet. Christopher Pettiet was his childhood friend. Media covered his romantic relationship, dated model star Kristen Zang on-and-off for several years, British socialite Emma Miller. Gisele Bundchen, Bar Refaeli and Las Vegas were his girl friends. He met with Israeli president Shimon Peres and traveled Refaeli’s home in 2009. He owns a home in Los Angeles and Riverhouse as well as an apartment in the TriBeca. He planned to create Eco-friendly resort in his island in Belize. Once his face was terribly injured when Aretha Wilson hit a broken bottle on his face at a Hollywood party and she was prisoned for two year.  He is very much conscious about environment. His receiving praise from environmental groups his activities proved him as a committed environmentalist.  

Leonardo DiCaprio was nominated for many awards such as a second Golden Globe nomination. He said, “I have no connection with me during that whole Titanic phenomenon and what my face became around the world............. I shall never reach that state of popularity again, and I would not expect to. It’s not something I am going to try to achieve either”.

Leonardo is not only an actor but also a producer. He produced some films. in the film, The Assassination of Richard Nixon, The Aviator and The Ides of March, he is an executive producer and in The 11^th Hour, Gardener of Eden, Greenburg, Orphan and Red Riding Hood, these are produced by Leonardo. He awarded most for his casting in The Departed where he acted as Willam Billy Costigan Jr. He is a successful actor to us.  He achieved so many awards those are given below.

Nirvana - One Legendary Band

“Nirvana” is a rock band of America constructed by Kurt Cobain and Krist Novoselic in 1987. They were singer/guitarist and bassist respectively. Their earlier activities hardly brought any success until 1989. Afterwards, Dave Grohl became a member and with his help; Nirvana became more and more advanced with a lot of successes.

They recorded their 1^st demos in January 1988. Dale Crover, a new member, helped them but he left just after finishing the record. Then, Dave Foster was replaced as the 2^nd drummer.  They unveiled their first single “Love Buzz” in November 1988. Foster left too. Chad Channing became another temporary member. Following that year, Nirvana’s first album “Bleach” was released. The recording cost of Blench was about $606.17. Jason Everman provided the whole money. Later, he joined the band as the 2^nd guitarist in 1989. Blench also became favorite of college radio stations. In order to enhance the advertising of the album, they decided to make a national tour. But eventually, the tour was cancelled due to the disagreement with Everman. As a result, Everman left the band. Unfortunately, distribution and promotion of the first album failed to make further progress. Only 40,000 copies were sold. Later, with the help of Steve fisk, a producer, “Blew” EP was recorded. Afterwards, their sound development activities went to a full extent. They successfully developed and used the sound based on dynamic contrasts. In September 1990, Cobian and Novoselic found Dave Grohl who was their most expected and right drummer. Nirvana, consisting of three permanent members, signed to DGC Records in 1990. Their 2^ndalbum “Nevermind” was released in 1991. Although they were not hopeful with that album but especially the single ‘Smell like Teen Spirit’ became a hit song. Because of that debut song of their 2^nd album, Nirvana became quite popular and familiar to the whole nation as ‘alternative rock’. The band was also considered as ‘flagship band’ of Generation X. The expected number of copies to sell was 250,000 but DGC Records successfully sold near about 7 million copies of ‘Nevermind’ only in U.S.A. That’s not all. Soon, this album reached the number one position on the top chart. They performed their new song “Rape Me” at the MTV Video Music Awards. They were very lucky because they received “Best Alternative Video” award and “Best New Artist” award at the ceremony. Their 4^th single “In Bloom” was released in 1992. Following that year, another single “Puss”/”Oh, the guilt” was released. Their 3^rd album “In Utero” was released in 1993. Fortunately, it’s another album that claimed the number one position on the Billboard. Over 3.5 million copies were sold in U.S.A again. Nirvana decided to make a worldwide tour then; First tour in various subkingdom of U.S.A and secondly, in Europe. Their first was completed successfully. But in early 1994, Cobain became sick suddenly. Doctors said that it was the effect of taking excessive alcohol. The tour to Europe was cancelled. Instead of avoiding drugs, Cobain became addicted to heroin once again. He was convinced not to get used to the addiction otherwise that would be very harmful for his body. On 8^th April 1994, Cobain made suicide as he was found dead with a shotgun at home. Novoselic and Grohl were shocked due to this unexpected and sudden death of Cobain. All the hopes and all the beliefs of Nirvana came to an end. But DGC didn’t. In November 1994, “Live! Tonight! Sold Out!!” (First full length video of Nirvana) was released. Next year, Nirvana won a Grammy Award for Best alternative Music album. DGC issued “From the Muddy Banks of the Wishkah” that was a live album of Nirvana. In 1997, Grohl, Novoselic and Cobain’s widow Courtney Love constructed “Limited Liability Corporation” (LLC) with a view to observe all the projects related to Nirvana. All the unreleased singles, e.g. “You Know You’re Right”, “With the Light’s out” were released after 2002. Besides, 20^th anniversary deluxe edition of ‘Bleach’ and ‘Nevermind’ were released in 2009 and 2011 respectively.

Nirvana sold over 25 million copies of their albums only in U.S.A, and over 50 million worldwide. Obviously, this band would become the greatest and the most popular in the history if Kurt Cobain was alive today, no doubt.

Bruce Willis is a name of Hollywood legends. His full name is Walter Bruce Willis. He has been performing as an actor, producer and musician. Bruce starts his career in television in 1980 and after then he continues his performing in both TV and film. He is a versatile actor, performing different kinds of role sometimes comedy, sometimes dramatic and also in action movies. Bruce Willis became famous performing in the movie Die Hard series, as John McClane character. Die hard series was very critical as well as box office winner movie. He works at least 60 movies, among which some box office winner movies are Pulp Fiction (1994), 12 Monkeys (1995), The Fifth Element (1997), Armegeddon (1998), The Sixth Sense (1999),Unbreakable (2000), Sin City (2005) and Red (2010).

Bruce Willis was born in March 19, 1955 in West Germany. His father David Willis was an American soldier. Willis was elder among four brothers and sisters. Willis moved for New York just after his junior education in the school. His father moved to Carneys Point, New Jersey with full family after discharging from his military job in 1957.

After performing in different characters and giving audition many times, he made his theater debut in the off-Broadway production of Heaven and earth. He also works several times as a stage performer to get more experience and coverage. He performs a stage show name Fool and Love.

His first important character was in the Blake Edwards film name Blind Date with renowned actress Kim Basinger and John Larroquette. Edward cast him again to perform as Tom Mix a real life cowboy in Sunset in 1988. But after performing in the Die Hard series he starts his new life as a movie star. Bruce Willis mostly performs his own stunt shots in the film.

Bruce Willis is two-times Emmy Award- winning, Golden Globe Award winning and four times Saturn Award nominated actor, Also won American Cinematheque Award in 2000, get nominated in 2001 for American comedy Award for Friends (1994) in the category of Funniest male guest appearance in a TV series. Winner of two times Blockbuster Entertainment Award and two times nominations. He got total of 14 winnings and 25 nominations under his belt.

Willis met renowned actress Demi Moore at the premiere for the film Stakeout. Bruce Willis and Demi Moore get married on November 21, 1987. They had three daughters Rumer Willis, Scout Willis and Tallulah Willis before their divorce on October 18, 2000. This couple didn’t mention any reason to the public media for their divorce. But both of them maintain a close connection together. Bruce Willis and Demi Moore also presently share custody of their children. Demi Moore later on engaged to another actor Ashton Kutcher, who supposed younger than Demi Moore.

Willis tries two times to make new bond after his divorce with Demi Moore. He starts his new bonding by engaging to Brooke Burns and they continue ten months together and then broke up in 2004. Later he married Emma Heming on March 21. 2009. During his marriage party his three daughters and Demi Moore with Ashton Kutcher were present. Willis has been expressing his concern of having more children in the past days. And on October 26, 2011, it is announced from Bruce Willis;s side that he and Emma were expecting their first baby together and Willis’s fourth.
