Her full name is Katy Elizabeth Hudson mostly known as Katy Perry. Katy Perry is an American singer come actress. She is also known by her song writing, When she was in high school she released her first album titled Katy Hudson. That album did not work for her carrier. She recorded a solo album later but she did not push it to release. She joined with Capitol Music Group in 2007 and she adopted her stage name Katy Perry.  After this she rose into fame. One of the boys made her a glittering star of music world.

Katy Perry become a known face with the album “One of the boys”.  “One of the boys” was released in the year of 2008. I kissed a gal, waking up in Vegas and Hot & Cold were in the top ten chart buster songs of the Billboard. After the success of the “One of the boys” Katy Perry was in a tour which called Hello Katy Tour. Teenage Dream is the best album of hers till date.  Teenage Dream was released in 2010 and become one of the best selling albums of that year. This album toped on the Bilborad 200 chart. Five songs of the album were in the top chart of billboard. California Gurls, Firework, ET, Teenage Dream (song named after the album) and Last Friday were the successful song of the album. This is the first album after Michael Jackson’s album Bad to achieve this glory and also the first of any female singer till date. To make the success of Teenage Dream even bigger she embarked on the California Dream tour.  This tour grosses over $60 million worldwide. Katy Perry is ready to re-release the album under the name of Teenage Dream: The Complete Confection. The album will release in 26 March 2012. This gifted star is the only one who spent over 52 consecutive weeks in the top ten of the Billboard Hot 100 songs list. This milestone is totally unique. Katy Perry was involved in a TV Series called The –X- Factor UK. She was in American Idol Judge Chair. She is also involved with the movie “The Smurfs”. Her husband name is Russell Brand. Katy Perry was nominated for six Grammy Awards this year.

She worked with Snoop Dog and Kanye West.  She also wrote some songs” Ashley Tisdale”, Selena Gomez, Jessica James, Lesley Roy, Kelly Clarkson and Adam Lambert. In 2011 Katy Perry was the third female singer who earned over $44 million behind Lady Gaga $90 million and Taylor Swift $45 million. She is also known for her fashion sense. Her fashion sense is truly deferent for sure. She introduces two fragrances “Purr” and “Meow”. Katy Perry is one of the most loved Childs of the nation.
